WSRE to Hold 2nd Annual Destin Wine & Food Classic - The Area's Top Chefs Present Their Finest Gulf Coast Masterpieces

WSRE, invites you to please your palate and tempt your taste buds with “The Chef’s Palette” at the 2nd Annual WSRE Destin Wine & Food Classic – Thursday, February 25, 6-9 p.m., Seagar’s Prime Steaks & Seafood at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Four of the area’s top chefs will each prepare their signature Gulf Coast cuisine as part of the four-course dinner for the evening. Chefs and their selected course include: Jim Richard of Stinky’s Fish Camp & The Lake Place – Appetizer, David Cunningham of Commander’s Palace – Salad, Bruce McAdoo of Seagar’s Prime Steaks & Seafood – Entrée, and Dan Pettis of One 20 A Modern Bistro – Dessert.

 

Guests will be welcomed with a Chef’s reception from 6-7 p.m. featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and a chance to mingle with our featured culinary artists. At 7 p.m. sharp, guests will be seated for a four-course masterpiece of a dinner. Each course will be paired with WSRE’s medal-winning wines provided by Republic National Distributors. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to bid on culinary packages from each of the chefs during a live auction, as well as enjoy entertainment by The Ray Hitchell Trio featuring David Seering. This year’s honorary event chair is Gordon Sprague and event hosts are Demetria and Richard McNeese.
