WSRE, invites the community to attend “Corks & Forks,” the 22nd Annual WSRE Wine & Food Classic. Enjoy the perfect pairing of delectable dishes and award-winning wines as our featured, top chefs surprise, entice and delight you — Friday, October 22 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. This year the fundraising event will span two evenings to give more people the opportunity to participate. Tickets are $50 per person for Friday and $125 per person for Sunday and can be purchased online at wsre.org/WineAndFood or by calling 850.484.1261 during business hours.
On Friday evening, the festivities will include a walkabout tasting of the silver and bronze award-winning wines and signature dishes presented by some of the area’s top chefs, while bidding on a tempting array of silent auction items. Sunday evening will feature a more exclusive, five-course seated dinner. The five participating chefs will each prepare a course and pair it perfectly with a gold award-winning wine. A live auction featuring unique culinary, destination, jewelry and wine items will be held as well. Jazz artist Al Martin and friends will entertain guests both evenings. Featured award-winning wines for both evenings will be selected at a private judging later this month.
