The Health of NW Florida's Seafood on Connecting the Community May 19

Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. on WSRE, "Connecting the Community" focuses on the health of Florida's gulf seafood one year after the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.

Host Lloyd Patterson discusses the impact of seafood safety on seafood lovers, Northwest Florida's fishermen, charter businesses and restaurants. Guests include Dr Richard Snyder, Director of the University of West Florida's Center for Environmental Diagnostics and Bioremediation; Irv Miller, chef and co-owner of Pensacola's renowned Jackson's restaurant in Pensacola; and Bruce Craul, Destin businessman and member of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association.
