NEW CURIOUS GEORGE MOVIE DEBUTS ON WSRE TOMORROW

Curious George, The Man with the Yellow Hat & their new elephant friend embark on a cross-country adventure about family, friends & determination

Pensacola, Fla. - This holiday season, PBS KIDS on WSRE is helping celebrate the values of family and friendship with the on-air debut of "Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey," airing Wednesday, November 24th, the day before Thanksgiving at 7 a.m., on Thanksgiving Day at 4:30 p.m. and the day after Thanksgiving at 6:30 a.m.

"Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey," the sequel to the hit 2006 animated feature "Curious George," follows George, the world's most beloved and inquisitive monkey, and The Man with the Yellow Hat as they set out on a coast-to-coast journey to reunite Kayla, a homesick elephant, with her family. This unlikely trio faces all types of comic calamities and colorful characters. In the end, they learn with family, friends and determination, you can achieve anything.

Filled with George's playful antics and humor that families know and love, the movie also features an all-star voice cast including Tim Curry ("The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius," Home Alone 2: Lost in New York), Jamie Kennedy (Kickin' It Old School, Malibu's Most Wanted), Matt Lauer ("Today Show"), Frank Welker ("Curious George" TV series, "Futurama,") and comedy legend Jerry Lewis, plus music from legendary songwriter Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys.
 
Watch out for more monkey with "A Very Monkey Christmas" which will be returning to WSRE the day after Thanksgiving, November 26th at 8 a.m.
