Free StudioAmped Concerts Begin Next Friday at WSRE with Bella Orange

Florida-based quintet Bella Orange will kick off the third season of WSRE's StudioAmped concert series on Friday, January 14 at 7 p.m. With soulful, sultry vocals, seductive horns, swanky guitars, melodic keys, smooth bass, and a driving back beat, Bella Orange consistently delivers a high energy, emotional performance. Touring in support of their first EP "Alive & Well," Bella Orange is spreading their beautiful positivity and dynamic sound throughout the Southeast. Bella Orange features vocalist Tiffany Kaye from Birmingham, Alabama; saxophonist Adam Cooper from Gulf Shores, Alabama; bassist Ryan James from Hialeah, Florida; Gulf Coast drummer Brandon Mattair; and guitarist Joshua Dodson from Navarre, Florida. If you like good, original music and are looking for something fun and free to do on Friday nights, StudioAmped, presented by GoPensacola.com, is the place to be. With a wide variety of musical genres including rhythm & blues, rock, reggae, indie, country and more, the series has drawn music-lovers of all ages. All concerts will last approximately 90 minutes. Each of the eight concerts are being taped in high definition and will air on WSRE Thursdays starting April 14, 2011, 9 p.m. with a repeat the following Wednesdays at 10 p.m. For those that can't make it to the concerts, TK101 will be streaming them live on their website at www.tk101.com.

WHAT: StudioAmped is an eight-week concert series featuring bands performing original material, produced by local PBS TV station WSRE.
WHEN: Every Friday night from January 14-March 4, 2010. Doors open at 6 p.m. Concerts start at 7 p.m.
