If you like good, original music and are looking for something fun and free to do on Friday nights, StudioAmped, presented by GoPensacola.com, is the place to be. With a wide variety of musical genres including rhythm & blues, rock, reggae, indie, country and more, the series has drawn music-lovers of all ages. All concerts will last approximately 90 minutes. Each of the eight concerts are being taped in high definition and will air on WSRE Thursdays starting April 14, 2011, 9 p.m. with a repeat the following Wednesdays at 10 p.m. For those that can't make it to the concerts, TK101 will be streaming them live on their website at www.tk101.com.
WHAT: StudioAmped is an eight-week concert series featuring bands performing original material, produced by local PBS TV station WSRE.
WHEN: Every Friday night from January 14-March 4, 2010. Doors open at 6 p.m. Concerts start at 7 p.m.
COST: FREE! FREE! FREE! and open to the public.
WHERE: WSRE Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio on Pensacola State College campus (corner of 12th Ave. and College Blvd.)
BONUS: Free food and drink will be offered before the shows to all attendees.
