WSRE's StudioAmped Concert Series 2011 Season Airs Beginning April 14

Beginning April 14, 2011, WSRE will televise its newest season of StudioAmped in high definition. All concerts will air on WSRE Thursdays from 9-10 p.m. with a repeat the following Wednesdays from 10-11 p.m. StudioAmped is an eight-week concert series featuring regional bands performing original material. The concerts were taped live before a studio audience in early 2011 at the WSRE Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio on the Pensacola State College Campus. The concert series offers a variety of musical genres such as rhythm & blues, rock, reggae, indie, country and more. Bands scheduled to air will be:

April 14 * 9 p.m. - Bella Orange (Repeat April 20 * 10 p.m.)
April 21 * 9 p.m. - Heritage (Repeat April 27 * 10 p.m.)
April 28 * 9 p.m. - Mr. Fahrenheit (Repeat May 4 * 10 p.m.)
May 5 * 9 p.m. - Sounding Rick (Repeat May 11 * 10 p.m.)
May 12 * 9 p.m. - Mama Lucky (Repeat May 18 * 10 p.m.)
May 19 * 9 p.m. - Morris Minor (Repeat May 25 * 10 p.m.)
May 26 * 9 p.m. - The Internationals (Repeat June 1 * 10 p.m.)
June 2 * 9 p.m. - Rumor Mill and Betsy Badwater & The Hillbilly Chrome (Repeat June 8 * 10 p.m.)
