Nashville Songwriters on Conversations with Jeff Weeks October 14

http://www.wsre.org - Thursday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. on WSRE, "Conversations with Jeff Weeks" welcomes two of Nashville's premier songwriters - Jim "Moose" Brown and Walt Aldridge. Brown and Aldridge have written songs for and worked with some of the biggest names in music including Jimmy Buffett, Alan Jackson, Conway Twitty, Earl Thomas Conley, Reba McEntire and James Otto. This edition of Conversations gives you a real insight into how hit songs are made. Get an inside peek into the Nashville music scene and hear about the inspiration behind the hits as well as the challenges facing artists and songwriters in today's technology-driven world.
"Conversations with Jeff Weeks" is a half-hour, weekly series that is "personality-driven," featuring in-depth discussions with unique individuals and leading newsmakers from all walks of life. The program airs Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m., Friday nights at 9 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. on WSRE, PBS for the Gulf Coast.
